Tikikt.com needs YOU, the residents of SL™ to be providers of content about the virtual world of Second Life®. You will become a member of Tikikt.com, write short (or long) articles, add events, classifieds, upload images and other type of content pertaining to SL™. In doing so you will gain points from the creation of that content and also from their page views. You can then exchange those points in world for Linden™ dollars. Your total points earned will still show on the site so you can gain privileges such as having the members with the most points listed on the front page and therefore having a better chance of getting even more page views of your content along with the extra points and Linden™ dollars associated with doing so. The exchange rate currently is at 5 points for every 1 L$ but may change due to the Linden™ dollars exchange rate and/or other factors. Chances are that you may get a better exchange rate in the future as we get more advertisers.
A page view equals 1 point and creation of content equals 1 or more points. So be sure to let all your friends know about your posts so your page views will go up. The more content we have the more visitors we will get and everyone's page views will go up. We can hopefully then all 'share the wealth'.
There are some responsibilities with being a content provider for tikikt.com as we don't want spam and substandard content all over the place. We want people to want to visit and visit often to get quality content about the world of Second Life®.
Here is how tikikt.com intends on accomplishing this. First, most types of text content must be at least 50 words long. Secondly, every piece of content can be voted on by our members. They can either give it a +1 or -1 vote. It is to the advantage of all our members to have good content on the site as nobody wants to visit a site with poor quality material so I encourage members to vote on others content, rewarding the good and punishing the bad. Keep in mind English may not be the posters first language though. What we really want is to be able to gain something useful or entertaining from the post.
If the total votes of the content piece you post adds up to -10 the content will be unpublished and you will no longer be able to get page views on it or points. Thirdly and this is very important, you as a member can also get voted on. The same rating system goes for you and if you get a -10 rating you will be banned and no longer able to post content or earn points/Linden™ dollars. If you feel you have been unfairly voted on you can contact me at kt_357@yahoo.com and I will decide on a case by case basis.
In addition to providing good content, you must own all rights to the content you provide to Tikikt.com. If there is any evidence that there has been copyright infringement we retain the right to delete the content without notice. In addition other actions may be taken such as blocking or deleting your account. The content you do own rights to and provide to tikikt.com; you keep the rights to it and can edit and/or delete it at your convenience.

11. Update - Tikikt.com now allows content that doesn't directly pertain to SL™ but that may be interesting to its members. Use your best judgement as ratings will still apply to your content.

To start writing articles and other content, create an account (see above), check your email, change your password and create a profile with your SL™ name. Make sure your SL™ name is correct, that is how you will be getting paid L$. Any problems or questions you can contact me at kt_357@yahoo.com.
There is a 'create content' menu at the top of the page. Click on it to begin creating your different types of content. Soon I will set up an in world server you can visit to exchange your points for L$ but right now I will have to do it manually. I will either do it at my convenience when you have accumulated a significant amount or you can contact me and I will do it as soon as I get a chance. I now have a pay server located at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Parambikulam/220/29/69/. As soon as you become a member, create your profile and earn at least 5 points by creating content and getting page views, you can visit that location and exchange your points for Linden™ dollars.
